| The
Pallet Factory (TPF) is
a pallet recycling/manufacturer with 200 employees,
4 plants located throughout the mid-south, and gross
sales of more than $30 million dollars annually.
The
Pallet Factory, Inc., was founded in 1977 by
Michael Doyle. Since then, The Pallet Factory has evolved
into a manufacturing and recycling leader in Memphis
and overall Tennessee/Kentucky market. Presently, The
Pallet Factory operates a fleet of tractors and over
400 trailers with a network of transportation companies
delivering throughout the mid-south. On a weekly basis,
The Pallet Factory
receives approximately 150,000 pallets and repairs over
120,000 of them. These pallets are recycled back into
the marketplace to be reused. Additionally, more than
20,000 pallets weekly are disassembled by machinery
to reuse the various components, and 40,000 new pallets
are manufactured weekly.
The Pallet Factory's Pallet Management programs provide excellent service for pallet removal/recovery as well as repair and return of the pallets to the vendors. Savings are realized on disposal costs as well as fewer new pallet purchases. All of our Pallet Management customers receive computerized reports of all pallet activity with detailed breakdowns and cost analysis.
The
Pallet Factory is an active member of the National
Wooden Pallet and Container Association, which
keeps us abreast of current industry trends. Today,
The Pallet Factory is headquartered at a state-of-the-art
40,000-square-foot facility in Memphis, Tennessee. The
Memphis facility generates more than 15,000 pallets
a day. The company also has facilities in Nashville,
Tennessee, and Lexington, Kentucky.
The Pallet Factory takes pride in its very capable and efficient work force. We are committed to them and reward them with profit sharing, medical insurance, and 40l(k) matching retirement funds. Come join the TPF Team! |
