At
The Pallet Factory, we believe
that the addition of automation helps increase
productivity and quality while reducing costs.
This means that our customers get high-quality
pallets at a very competitive price. Our state-of-the-art
40,000-square foot facility in Memphis, Tennessee,
is one of the largest and most automated pallet
facilities in the country. We would like to
extend a personal invitation to our customers
and prospective customers to come tour our facility.
Currently, The
Pallet Factory uses Machine
Specialists, Inc. (M.S.I.), equipment
for recycling pallets and Viking
Engineering equipment for new pallet
manufacturing.
Pallet Dispensing
Our M.S.I. De-stacker is the cornerstone of
our automated sort and repair systems. This
machine will take entire stacks of either
sorted or unsorted pallets and dispense them
individually onto a conveyor for further downstream
processing. We currently have several of these
machines within our organization.

Pallet Repair
At The Pallet
Factory, we no longer repair pallets
the conventional way using a repair table and
nail gun. We now repair pallets on our M.S.I.
Automated Sort and Repair System. This ASR System
is an assembly line very similar to what you
would see in an industrial manufacturing plant.
The unrepaired pallets are placed on the conveyor
at the beginning of the line and not removed
until they reach the end of the line fully stacked
and repaired to the NWPCA's repair standard.
Repairing pallets in this fashion allows us
to keep up with our high production demands
while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Pallet Sortation
We sort in excess of 15,000 pallets per day
at The Pallet
Factory. Dealing with such huge volumes,
it is imperative that they are sorted efficiently
and effectively. With our M.S.I. Pallet Sortation
Systems, unsorted pallets are loaded in full
stacks onto the loading conveyor and are automatically
sorted and then dispensed onto the out-feed
conveyors fully stacked into their respective
categories. These sort systems are well utilized
by The Pallet
Factory internally as well as in
our customers' facilities for on-site sortation.
We currently have several of these machines
within our organization.

Wood Recovery
Recycling all possible material is a primary
goal at The Pallet
Factory. Unusable pallets enter our organization
on a daily basis. Instead of disposing of
these pallets, we have implemented M.S.I.'s
Wood Recovery Systems to dismantle the pallets
and turn the lumber into reusable material.

Pallet Manufacturing
Large quantities of pallets are efficiently
and consistently produced on our Viking automatic
nailing machines while smaller custom orders
are produced with hand held nail guns. This
allows us to meet high production demands
while keeping a quality, unified pallet spec.
In addition, it allows us to keep our prices
competitive within the marketplace. We currently
have several of these machines within our
organization.
